What would individual therapy look like?

So, this is art therapy?

Nope! While we value creativity as a therapeutic tool, at Kind Heart Arts, mental health therapy might look similar to conventional talk therapy...or sometimes it might be very different! All evaluations are completed virtually. Afterwards treatments may consist of virtual therapy, in person in your home, or meeting in the community (depending on your location and your goals).  Where and when our sessions take place would always be agreed and decided upon prior to the date; therapy is a collaborative process.

Our program was developed through the lens of Occupational Therapy, or OT. In OT we believe that being able to do the things you need and want to do are vital to your health. We help you analyze the barriers you have to getting what you need/want and work to eliminate them via modification, adaptation, change or a combination thereof.
